Received an email with an important post from Barbara some time back. It will not link to the site here, nor is it present here. Don’t know what this is all about but I wanted to responds so…

Yes, Lost Words, a gorgeous book. Beautiful to look at, to read, to ponder. I adore Robert Macfarlane and always, always feel the world is better for having him in it. What he writes about is very important. Have not read Underland yet, though intend to. Have picked up Landmarks again – I had set it aside for a bit – and cherish those early, quiet mornings when I read it. Find I am dog earring pages, something I haven’t done in years, but I just don’t want to lose track of what he is saying.
