By I listened to this book, read by the author, and enjoyed it immensely. I knew I wouldn’t make time for it otherwise so listening was an excellent option. Gates is smart, articulate, and passionate about what she believes. Very open hearted. She shares many stories, both personal and global, that illustrate how true equality improves circumstances for all. We know this, of course, but listening to someone speak so passionately about it is inspiring. And she is out there walking the walk, not just talking the talk.

That which is uplifting is sorely needed these days in America. Did Melinda Gates do the reading?

She did, Teri. Which makes the listening that much more intimate. By the end of the book, she feels like a friend.
