I am excited to start re-reading Middlemarch by George Eliot.

  1. Oh this is fabulous Alison! Thank you so much–the promise of more great books to read! Exactly what I need today to help me get through this nasty flu I’ve caught. I really want to read Dana Spiotta’s new book–I loved Stone Arabia, and actually I’m thinking of re-reading it. If my head doesn’t stop hurting I’m going to have to crawl back into bed and read if I can. Happy Middlemarch! Big confession–I’ve never read it, I’m embarrassed to say. There are huge gaps in my book history that I have to fill.

    1. It is a book that takes time, for sure, but I think it’s worth it. Maybe I’ll post as I’m reading it instead of waiting until the end…
