We’re All Damaged by Matthew Norman

So this book is a little dark, a little twisted, pretty damn funny and an insanely short read. I read it in one VERY slow day at work. And the best part? It’s FREE in the Kindle library!!

The main character in this book has gone through a nasty divorce and moves himself to NYC to get away from everyone. A year later, he needs to go back to Nebraska to see his dying Grandfather. The first thing he finds out when he gets home? His extremely conservative, radio talk show host, mother is being targeted by the Glitter Mafia.

The main theme of the book is about Andy making amends with the friends and relatives that he left behind. I think it’s something that anyone who has separated themselves from family or friends can relate to. The humor can be a little dark but it suited the mood I was in when I read it.

I would definitely recommend this book.
