Reading Together: Roxane Gay

A new activity we are embracing during the Winter Reading Wonderland is reading a piece together as a group. For this inaugural group read we will be checking out Roxane Gay’s “Why I am a Bad Feminist,” which is the first essay in her book Bad Feminist. 

I am looking forward to hearing what fellow readers think!

  1. I’m really glad you picked Roxanne Gay’s “Why I am a Bad Feminist.” This is one of my favorite essays that she has written, and I’m also looking forward to reading it together. She gave an amazing talk here in Rochester last year–what an important writer and cultural critic she is for our time.
