By What can I say?? It’s a Nicholas Sparks book. I used to really enjoy his books but I found that his writing becomes extremely formulaic after you’ve read 10 or so. I feel that way about James Paterson too.
So I don’t run out and buy his books like I used to but I stumbled across this one in the library and thought I’d give it a go. It’s summer, after all.
What I really enjoyed about this book is that there was a bit of mystery and action thrown in with the typical romance. The female lead is being stalked by someone and of course, the new boyfriend has to come to her rescue. Spoiler alert! No not really, there’s still much more to the story than just that. I think I read it in about 2 days.
Not a bad choice, if you don’t really want to focus or put too much thought into what you’re reading.
