Lunafest

Every year our local women’s help center, Centre Safe, raises funds by screening Lunafest short films at a local theater. When COVID closed the theaters, the event became available online. The films are all made by women and the ticket sales support women filmmakers and women’s groups. The tickets are $15 plus a small fee. Here’s the site where you can choose a virtual viewing: https://www.lunafest.org/screenings. You can search for a showing near you too. I just watched the State College screening. The films are wonderful. Even though our theaters are open again, I’m delighted I can still take part in Lunafest at home via my computer.
