VITAL

This is another one of those essays that I feel compelled to get in as many hands, eyes, minds as possible. Beautifully articulated, fascinating, hopeful. As I read it I felt, uncommonly, like there may just be a future for our species. Thinking like this can save us! I highly recommend.

  1. Thank you for highlighting this essay. I personally resonate with the ideas around interstitium. I took the survey that you could link to in the essay, and I also looked at Jennifer Brandel’s website, ‘Jenny Everything.’ She’s a very interesting young women. There is quite a bit about her online. I hope to listen to the podcast on Radio Lab. I’m currently spending a lot of time thinking about ethics broadly including ethics related to AI. I agree, this is a hopeful article well worth passing on.

  2. I have just added this to my course Drugs and Nutrition – Scientific and Social Perspectives. I recall learning about this about five years ago and it’s great to see it coming to the surface 🙂 Thanks for sharing, JNaz!

    1. Love that you are bringing this into your curriculum, borkali. How better to get this intel out there? This kind of thinking is powerful, and a place where western medicine and thinking lags far behind.
