The garden is giving– we overfloweth with greens. I felt compelled to give back and have added a bowl of seeds and dried bread that I’ve added to the brown study. The black study has just begun and the simplicity strikes me today. The cobwebs within the green study connect to white and the interruption of leaves on the white study carries me to brown. JNaz wrote me a letter that quoted something I had written to her to the effect of ‘neglect is a way to interact’. Teri’s photo’s of the whiteboard (can you find them?) have weathered much. I think these photos help illustrate the power of nature’s continuing change & beauty (the hibiscus – oh my!). I think this will be my last Open Arts update as we shift towards our summer reading adventure that I look very much forward to.

It’s fun to revisit your studies and see your luscious backyard.

Evolution? Devolution? Fascinating, all of it. And the hibiscus! Gorgeous! And the garden! Bountiful!
