This book is deep – a story about the black snake, who will poison the water, creating suffering for all forms of human life. This book is a call to action to fight against the black snake. The colors are full of blues and more blues, which fits the mood. If this isn’t in your library, it should be. I’m lucky enough to have a copy around here to read on the regular as a reminder that, indeed, we are water protectors.
