Beets Me

Our beet (and carrot) harvest — beets older than Baby Angel! We are going to ferment them for her birthday fiesta. Gotta love nature, people. And dang, I’m sorry if you don’t love beets – I am so lucky I married a Polaki dude who loves his ROOTS 😉

Hmmm, what an authentic garden brunch we shall enjoy together! Fermented roots. I’m feeling healthier already!

  Sadly my beets molded — I know other people in my area who have been having this problem. A first for me, though we have a fun plant-based menu awaiting!
