I’m not exactly a widow and not just because we didn’t get married. Jesse is still in a minimally conscious state after a traumatic brain injury January 2019. While he’s in this in-between as he’s trying to heal, I’m also in a state of limbo. There’s a lot in this book I could relate to.

I finished reading this book a few weeks ago. Even though I received my first deck almost 20 years ago, I’ve never sat down to read a tarot book cover to cover. Sure i have read PLENTY of articles and reference books usually in an as needed section by section, card by card situation. I’m
I finished reading this last night and thought I should share with you all what I posted on my social media about it: 💖💖💖 For anyone questioning their gender and fighting against the binary, this is such an important read by @jacobtobia 💖💖💖 I love that this book is framed as a “coming of gender

Last week we had our monthly reading group at the gallery. This time instead of having a lengthy read, we did a “close read” of Octavia Butler’s short story “Bloodchild”. This was my first time reading Octavia Butler and I’m not typically one to read Sci-Fi. This story, however, as one of the discussion groups
No offense to the other books I have read recently, but THIS. THIS. THIS lived up to every bit of hype surrounding the book/series. I have not seen the series yet, because I do not have access to a Hulu account at the moment. I haven’t devoured a novel like this in a long time.
